  1. Mayor's Fitness Challenge Begins!

    May 16 - July 10

Mayor Brummel and the Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission are motivating residents to get fit! On May 16, the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge returns! This program is designed to challenge residents to keep pace with Mayor Brummel by moving to your own healthy beat. The Mayor’s Fitness Challenge is designed to inspire your competitive nature and motivate you to engage in some type of physical activity each week. The goal is to log in at least 150 minutes of activity each week for eight weeks (May 16 – July 10). There is no cost and participants must be at least 12 years old. Those who complete the Challenge will receive a limited edition T-shirt. Joining the program is easy; go to the link below. As you exercise each week, don’t forget to log back into the website and record your time; you can do it weekly or daily. And remember, Mayor Brummel doesn’t just want you getting fit; he’s looking to motivate some healthy family time, so get your minutes together!
