The Electrical Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council with issues related to safe standards and practices for the installation and use of electrical equipment. This includes creating rules and regulations, and establishing fees for electrical permit issuance. The Commission consists of six volunteer members including the Chief Electrical Inspector, registered engineer, electrical contractor, and representatives from the Warrenville Fire Protection District that meet annually.
