City Meetings Available Online

This fiscal year, the City Council approved the purchase of an equipment upgrade for the City's access channel, Channel 10. This equipment upgrade allows individuals to view City meetings and eventually all City programming online. In the past, Warrenville cable subscribers were the only ones who could view City programming, unless a resident picked up a VHS tape of City Council meetings from the library. With this equipment upgrade, anyone with an Internet connection anywhere in the world can view the programming. Simply go to www.warrenville.il.us, hover your mouse over the words "The City" (to the right of the screen) and choose City Council. At the bottom of that page will be a link to the programming, including City Council and Committee of the Whole meetings.

Programs can be watched "On Demand" at any time of day. They can be fast forwarded or rewound as many times as the users wants. The program schedule will mirror that of Channel 10 in that meetings will air for two weeks and be replaced after that time period.

The City has experienced a few technical issues with the first meeting of 2010. These issues are being addressed and will be resolved by the next meeting date. Questions about this service can be directed to Assistant City Administrator Jennifer McMahon at (630) 393-9427 or jmcmahon@warrenville.il.us.
