GENERAL INFORMATION
Voter Registration

In order to register to vote, a person must meet three qualifications:

  1. He or she must be a citizen of the United States
  2. Eighteen years of age as of the next election
  3. A resident of his or her precinct for thirty days as of the next election

At registration, an applicant must provide two forms of identification. At least one of the forms must include the present residence address. Acceptable ID's include, but are not limited to, driver's license, utility bill, social security card, employee or student ID card, etc.

Residents may register at City Hall, 28W701 Stafford Place, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Warrenville Police Department, 3S245 Warren Avenue will also accept registrations Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please arrive one half hour prior to closing at any of the above facilities. Also, arrangements can be made at City Hall for registration of housebound individuals.

More specific information regarding a City election or polling place location is generally available 30 days prior to an election and may be obtained by calling the City Clerk’s office at 630/393-9427. For other than municipal elections, the DuPage County Board of Elections may be contacted at 630/407-5600.
