Animal Licenses
Cat Licenses: Residents living in the City of Warrenville who own a cat must ensure that it has a valid, current licenses (tag) issued by the DuPage County indicating that it has been inoculated against rabies. A City tag is not required.

Dog Licenses: Residents living in the City of Warrenville who own a dog must have a Warrenville dog license (tag). Tags go on sale in December each year and are good for the calendar year from January through December. All dogs in the City must be inoculated against rabies. In order to purchase a license, bring printed proof (not the tag) of the inoculation to City Hall or the Police Department during regular business hours.

License costs are as follows:

  • Neutered dog/cat: $4.00
  • Non-neutered dog/cat: $8.00
  • Senior Citizen owning a neutered dog/cat: No fee
  • Senior Citizen owning a non-neutered dog/cat: $4.00
  • Seeing-eye dog/cat assisting hearing impaired: No fee

Any owner whose dog or cat that does not display a City tag, may be subject to a $20 fine and their animal may be impounded by the Animal Control Officer. For further information, contact the Police Department Records Division at 630/393-2131.

Electrical Contractor Registration
Registration requires a completed application, fee, copy of license, and bond. This is required annually. Allow for a 24-hour processing time.
