Boy Scouts of America sponsor the Police Explorer Program and the Warrenville Police Department regularly has a number of active members. The program provides the opportunity for young adults to assist the police in many activities as well as become educated on whether they wish to pursue a career in law enforcement. Many former Explorers have gone on to careers in law enforcement. Participants range in age from 16 to 20 and can be male or female.
