The Subdivision Control Ordinance of the City of Warrenville sets forth the requirements deemed necessary to insure the sound, harmonious subdivision development and community growth, and to safeguard the interest of the homeowner, the sub-divider, the investor and the City.
The Subdivision Control Ordinance is applicable to all subdivisions of land located within the City of Warrenville and the unincorporated area within one and one-half miles of the corporate limits of the City.
The Subdivision Control Ordinance provides regulations concerning the subdivision design and required improvements, the form and content of the preliminary and final plat documents, and the procedure to be followed in securing the official approval of the City regarding the subdivision. All subdivision plats must be prepared and presented for approval, as provided for in the Subdivision Ordinance.
