City Treasurer Remains an Elected Position

The City Treasurer will remain an elected position following the results of the November 8 election (available at The Treasurer position was vacant prior to the last consolidated municipal election in 2021 and no candidates ran for the office. The position is currently vacant. 

Candidate packets for the Consolidated General Election on April 4, 2023 are available at City Hall and on the City’s Elections webpage at: Nominating petitions must be filed at City Hall from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, December 12 –19, 2022. For more information, see the Candidate’s Guide available through the Illinois State Board of Elections at:
