[ARCHIVED] Special Olympics Illinois Cop-on-Rooftop Fundraising Event

Cop on Rooftop Special Olympics Event
On Friday, May 19, 2017, from 5:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m., Warrenville police officers will participate in the statewide Dunkin' Donuts Cop on Rooftop fundraising event to benefit Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Again this year, police officers will sit a-top the Dunkin’ Donuts, at 2S721 IL Route 59, Warrenville, in hopes to heighten awareness and raise money for these athletes.

Everyone who makes a donation in any amount will receive a coupon for a free donut, and anyone who donates $10 or more will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts/Law Enforcement Torch Run stainless steel travel mug (while supplies last) and coupon for a free coffee. T-shirts, baseball caps, and raffle tickets will also be available for purchase to benefit the athletes.

Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in sports for athletes with intellectual disabilities. The organization also reaches out to Young Athletes between the ages of two and seven, with or without intellectual disabilities.
