[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert – Road Closure Update

As an update to the previously posted article, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be closing down IL Route 59 lanes of traffic to one lane in each direction. Beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m., the IDOT will be placing road construction barrels and signage around the affected lanes of traffic. Those affected lanes are:

Northbound: beginning at IL Route 59 and Ferry Road to Continental Drive.

Southbound: beginning at IL Route 59 and Batavia Road to Ferry Road.

The roadway will remain in this pattern until further notice.
