[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery

On Friday, December 12, 2019, at 2:06 p.m., Warrenville officers were dispatched to the 29W500 block of Country Ridge Drive to investigate an Armed Robbery that had just occurred. The victim reported being followed home from a business near their residence by a person driving a gray Honda Pilot with unknown vehicle license plates. The victim parked in front of their residence and exited the vehicle. At that time, the victim was approached at gunpoint by two offenders who took the victim’s car keys and wallet. One offender then fled southbound from the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The second and a third male offender then followed in the Honda Pilot. The two offenders who approached the victim were described as male blacks wearing ski masks, dressed in dark colored clothing, and each displaying dark-colored handguns. The victim’s vehicle is described as a white 2012 Chevrolet Malibu bearing Illinois license plates (AZ91760) and has not been recovered.
