* What: Collecting food and household items for community food banks.

* When: May 22-26.

* Where: Drop off items at City Hall, 3S258 Manning Avenue, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

City Offices Close May 29

* City Hall offices will close for Memorial Day Monday, May 29.

* Garbage collection is delayed by one day.

* For police assistance during closed lobby hours, use the red telephone between the front doors or dial 9-1-1 from your cell phone. Police emergency response will not be affected.

Insert to Water/Sewer Bills

* The City has added a fee to help pay for Warrenville's share of the cost to upgrade the Naperville Wastewater Treatment Plant.

* The fee will first appear on July and August's water/sewer bills.

* There is a flyer about the new fee included with the current water/sewer bill mailing.
