Police Issue Car Theft Alert

* Warrenville Police are investigating a recent car theft in the City.

* During the overnight hours of July 4-5, a 2018 Kia Sorento was stolen from the Preserve at Cantera subdivision (Village Green). There were also unsuccessful attempts to steal a 2018 Kia Sportage, a 2023 Kia Sportage, a 2023 Kia Sportage, and a 2022 Kia Soul, all from the same area.

Free Concert at Warren Tavern

* Enjoy live music from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15 in the outdoor amphitheater at 3S540 Second Street.

* There are three 45-minute performances from Rochambeau, The Woodshop Boys, and The Wright Street Band. Asia Bell will create some of her amazing chalk art.

* Bring your own snacks, refreshments, and chairs. Rain date is Sunday, July 16.

DuPage County Mental Health Recovery Center

* The DuPage County Board approved funds for a $25.8 million Crisis Recovery Center to provide more mental health and substance use treatment services.

* The center will provide care for adults, children, and adolescents in a therapeutic environment and be a hub for all Health Department behavioral health crisis services.
