9/11 Remembrance Ceremony 

* WHEN: Monday, September 11 at 8:00 a.m.

* WHERE: Warrenville Fire Protection District, 3S472 Batavia Road.

* SCHEDULE: Welcome from the Fire Chief, flag raising honor guard, pledge, national anthem, invocation, remarks from the Mayor, Police Chief, and VFW Commander, a rifle salute, bell ringing ceremony, and Taps, followed by refreshments.

* Learn how Warrenville Police Department operates. 

* Join the Citizen's Police Academy, 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, September 13 through November 15.

* Open to residents 18 and over and business owners.

* Bring a lounge chair, picnic dinner, and enjoy the last outdoor concert of the summer at Warrenville Public Library.

* Classical Blast melds classic rock with a little Bach (and other classical music tunes)!

* Time and place: 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 31, Bob Walters Commons, 28W751 Stafford Place. NOTE: Scheduled one hour earlier to finish before sunset.
