New Sculpture Installed on Bob Walters Commons

* WHAT: A public sculpture for residents to enjoy, located on the Bob Walters Commons off Manning Avenue, between City Hall and Warrenville Public Library District.

* WHO: The sculpture's name is ‘Tribute.’ The name of the Pegasus herself, is ‘EbE’ (pronounced as ‘E-Bee.’) EbE, if you turn it upside down, represents ‘393,’ which is the old Warrenville phone exchange. She is the creation of local sculpture artist Jen Kresl of Steel Envy in Warrenville.

* MORE: The City purchased the artwork under the Aesthetic Enhancement Program Policy approved by City Council.

Christmas Tree Disposal

* Groot will pick up one Christmas tree per house for free during the first two weeks of January. The collection will happen on your usual trash days.

* Groot will also take garlands and wreaths.

* If you've got the space, put your tree in a cozy corner of your backyard. It'll make a great shelter for animals during the winter.
