Batavia Road Closed to Traffic* Batavia Road between Warrenville Road and Manning Avenue is closed to traffic as of Monday, July 15 for up to two weeks for construction. Current work: - Pavement removal has been completed from Route 56/Butterfield Road to Warrenville Road.
- Street cleaning is taking place.
- Road patching begins Friday, July 19.
- Road paving is scheduled to begin Monday, July 22.
- Batavia Road remains closed from Manning Avenue to Warrenville Road while work continues.

July Celebration: Americans With Disabilities Act* The City's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Commission (IDEC) honors federally recognized heritage and history months throughout the year as part of our commitment to building an inclusive community that values diversity. * In July, we recognize: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which became law in 1990. Next Citizen Police Academy Session Begins in September* Learn how the Warrenville Police Department operates at the Citizen Police Academy. * The next Academy will be 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, September 11 through November 13. * Topics include the Patrol Division's work, a drone demonstration, police defensive tactics, and off-site tours of the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) and the DuComm 9-1-1 facility. * Open to residents 18 and over, and Warrenville business owners and their employees. * Apply at: Citizen Police Academy
