ComEd Tree Trimming Plan

* ComEd will trim trees in Warrenville over the next few months.

* Trees and other vegetation are responsible for about 21% of power interruptions, so regular pruning around power lines is essential.

* ComEd’s vegetation management crews are trained in safe and professional pruning methods.

* They consider each tree’s type, growth rate, health, and its location relative to the overhead wires. Crews also follow guidelines to protect the environment and meet all necessary regulations before they begin trimming.

* If ComEd needs to work near your property, you’ll get a notice on your door or in the mail with more details specific to your location.
