Tax Levy Basics

๐Ÿ“ข Understanding Property Taxes ๐Ÿ“ข

We know taxes can be confusing, and we've heard your questions about the City's annual property tax levy. The process involves multiple agencies, from the City's tax levy request to the County's creation of individual tax bills.

To help break it down, weโ€™ve put together "Tax Levy Basics"โ€”a simple guide with general information and examples. While it wonโ€™t cover details for specific properties, it will give you a better understanding of how property taxes work.

The City makes it easy with step-by-step instructions to help you find and fix leaks. Download the Water Sense Challenge (PDF).
