This is part of our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive community where diversity is valued and celebrated.

In June, we recognize:

* Immigrant Heritage Month

* National Caribbean American Heritage Month

* Pride Month

* Juneteenth (June 19)

IDEC welcomes your ideas and feedback to help make Warrenville an even more inclusive and respectful place for everyone. Share your thoughts at: idec@warrenville.il.us

West Nile Virus Alert

The DuPage County Health Department has confirmed the first mosquito batches to test positive for West Nile virus (WNV) this year in DuPage County. No human cases have been reported so far.

Now is the time to take steps to protect yourself and your family from mosquito bites.

Drain: Remove standing water around your home—clean birdbaths and pet bowls regularly.

Defend: Use insect repellent with DEET and follow label instructions.

Dress: Wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes when outdoors.

Dusk to Dawn: Use repellent during these peak mosquito hours.
