Merry Market is Tonight!

Enjoy the tree lighting, carriage rides, hot chocolate bar, and holiday tree showcase at Holly Days, then warm up inside at City Hall and the Library to shop for holiday gifts at the Merry Market!

INTRODUCING THE VENDORS:

At Warrenville Public Library (Use Stafford Place entrance):

• Warrenville Writer's Connection - Local authors selling books.

• Warrenville Historical Society - Local history ornaments, craft items, books.

• Dandelion Atelier - A selection of festival holiday candles, soaps, wax melts, lotions, bath bombs, bath salts, and room sprays.

• TURBO Awesome Finds - Pop up t-shirt bar. Customers pick their design and shirt, then it's pressed on site for them to take home.

• Sparkling Salutations - Greeting cards with sparkling cutouts of holiday symbols affixed to the cards.

At City Council Chambers on Stafford Place:

• A Little Bit Feral - 100% naturally leavened sourdough breads and treats.

• Quickfire - Fire starters.

• Chalkcuture/Majorcreations - Handmade high end DIY home decor and gifts.

• Archie's Sweets - Cake pops.

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

As temperatures drop, the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center will be open as a warming center during regular business hours.

Location: 3S260 Warren Avenue

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 5:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Friday: 5:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Sunday: 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Need overnight accommodations?

Call the Warrenville Police Department non-emergency line at (630) 393-2131 (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.). After hours, dial 9-1-1 and ask to speak with an on-duty Sergeant or Corporal.

Toys for Tots donation deadline is December 10, 2025.

Blackwell Tube Hill is open when conditions allow - learn how to get alerts when the hill is open.

Blackwell Tube Hill Dates

The Blackwell Tube Hill will be open this season on days when conditions allow (typically 3 inches or more of snow). 

To get an alert when the tube hill is open, text the keyword TUBING to 866-743-7332. There will only be an alert when the hill is open.

DATES:

• Weekends: December 6, 2025 – February 22, 2026

• Winter Break: December 22, 2025 – January 2, 2026 (closed December 25 & January 1)

• Community Unit School District 200 Institute Day: January 5, 2026

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day: January 19, 2026

• Presidents Day: February 16, 2026

HOURS: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last tube rentals at 3:30 p.m.)

COST: $10 per tube (all day)
