INSTALLATION OF DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTERS
IN PUBLIC WORKS FLEET VEHICLES

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND BID

The City of Warrenville is requesting proposals for installation services of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) Public Works Fleet. Installation work will be completed on four City-owned vehicles, all pre-model year 2006. The scope of the work would include all equipment, materials, and installation (retrofit) of the DPF device systems on the vehicles.



Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Warrenville, Illinois for the project entitled "Installation of Diesel Particulate Filters in Public Works Fleet Vehicles” until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the office of the City Clerk located at 28W701 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL 60555.  Sealed bids shall be addressed to the City of Warrenville, City Clerk at 28W701 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL 60555, attention Emily Larson, City Clerk, and shall be labeled “Sealed Bid Number 2020-02 – Installation of Diesel Particulate Filters in Public Works Fleet Vehicles”.
The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers, on the same date. The room is located on the second floor at 28W701 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL 60555.

Please note that, at a minimum, the Contractor must have maintained a permanent place of business for at least five years, must have adequate manpower and equipment to perform the services in an expeditious and acceptable manner, and shall have satisfactorily furnished services of similar size and scope for a period of at least five years. Verification of this requirement must be submitted as part of the proposal. Contractor shall provide no less than three reference contacts for services of similar size and scope. 
 
Questions and requests for clarification related to qualification questionnaire and bid must be requested in writing by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020. Please contact Deputy Public Works Director Phil Kuchler via fax (630) 393-1531 or via e-mail .  Questions and requests for clarification must be received in sufficient time to allow an Addendum to be issued, if necessary. Therefore, questions received after 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020, will not be answered.
