Under the direction of the city administrator, the Administration Department is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing multiple city programs, services, and activities pursuant to the policy and direction of the Mayor and City Council and in accordance with the city codes, ordinances, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include:
  • Human resources
  • IT
  • Meeting agenda preparation
  • Operations of all city departments
  • Public relations / information
  • Risk management
  • Support of elected / appointed officials
  • Utility / cable franchise administration

The department consists of the city administrator, assistant city administrator, administrative services coordinator, and executive assistant.
