FOIA requests are processed by the Police Department Records Division personnel during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have any questions regarding submitting a FOIA request, please contact Records Assistant Kubilius at 630-393-2131.
The Warrenville Police Department is bound by the Illinois Compiled Statutes to complete Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in accordance with the law. Information regarding the laws governing FOIA requests may be found at the FOIA website.
Request a Copy of a Police Report
A Freedom of Information Act Form must be completed and submitted on-line or in person at the Police Department. Once the completed form is received, the department will have five business days to respond. Requestors will be notified if, and/or when, the report is available to be picked up, or the reason for it being denied. Copying fees are associated with all documents, and must be paid prior to receiving the FOIA request.
