Lexington Trace Subdivision

This project entails the development of an approximately 20.86-acre property with a residential subdivision consisting of approximately 21 residential buildings with 106 single family attached units (townhouses), associated storm water management facilities, private open space, and new public streets. The property is located west of Route 59, south of Butterfield Road and north of Estes Street.

Project Status (last updated 1/10/19):
The Plan Commission conducted a formal Public Hearing on June 22 and July 20, 2017, and forwarded a recommendation to City Council for approval of Preliminary PUD Plans. City Council passed Ordinance O2017-47 on August 7, 2017. The Applicant submitted final engineering and landscape design drawings, along with a City TIF Assistance request, which are currently undergoing City review. The City Council discussed the Applicant's City TIF Assistance request at its November 12, 2018, Community Development Committee of the Whole Meeting. At its November 19, 2018, regular meeting, the City Council authorized staff and the City's redevelopment attorney to negotiate a City/TIF Assistance Redevelopment Agreement with Lexington Homes for the project. These negotiations are ongoing.
