Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan
The purpose of the plan is to identify activities that can be undertaken by both public and private sectors to reduce safety, health and property issues caused by natural hazards. The plan fulfills federal mitigation planning requirements for funding and provides a blueprint for actions to reduce impact of natural and man-made hazards. The original plan was developed in 2006, and is required to be updated every five years (2012 / 2018). The following is a link the 2018 plan: 2018 DuPage County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan
