IDEC Recognizes November celebrations

Home Spotlights Posted on November 01, 2022

In November, we recognize National Native American Month, American Indian Month, and Alaskan Native Heritage Month. It’s a time to celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures, and important contributions of our nation’s first people.

Heritage Month also highlights the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges. Learn more at: ncai.org/initiatives/native-american-heritage-month
