Hotel Tax Grant Workshop Set for July 13

The City's Tourism and Arts Commission (TAC) awards grants using the City's Hotel Tax to support:

  • Community cultural events
  • Tourism
  • Arts Programming and Education
  • Community Capital Improvements

Organizations interested in applying for a grant should attend the Hotel Tax Grant Workshop: 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13 at City Hall, 28W701 Stafford Place

Projects that encourage overnight stays are preferred, but not required.

The mission of the grant program is to promote overnight stays in local hotels by providing funding assistance to events, projects, and capital expenses that bring people to Warrenville.

Events that have received grants include:

  • Art on the Prairie
  • Lunchtime Live
  • Movies in the Park
  • Multicultural Festival
  • Concerts on the Commons
  • Sunday Musical Matinees
  • Warrenville in Bloom beautification program
  • Warrenville Historical Society's Spring Tea
  • Cemetery Walk
  • CoffeeCon Midwest (returning in October 2023)
