IDEC Celebrates Americans with Disabilities Act in July

Home Spotlights Posted on July 06, 2023

The City's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Commission honors federally recognized heritage and history months throughout the year as part of our commitment to building an inclusive community that values diversity.

In July, we recognize: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which became law in 1990. This federal civil rights law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.

IDEC welcomes feedback, ideas, and suggestions to further the mission of inclusivity and respect for all in Warrenville. Submit comments to: idec@warrenville.il.us.
