* Cinemark replaces the former Regal Cantera Theater at 28250 Diehl Road.

* Theatre features include state of the art surround sound and digital projection technology, beer and wine bar, luxury loungers, and an arcade.

* The next Academy is 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, September 13 through November 15.

Public Meeting on City Zoning Code Update August 9

* The City will update its zoning code to attract private sector investment and provide different types of housing in key areas of the community.

* There is a public meeting from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9 in City Hall Council Chambers, 28W701 Stafford Place.

* At this meeting, members of the public will learn about Phase One of the process and have the chance to comment.
