DuPage County has partnered with eWorks and RewearAble to collect clothing and textiles for reuse and recycling. RewearAble is a non-profit that provides jobs for adults with disabilities.

Items that can’t be recycled will be turned into cleaning/painting rags or reused in insulation, packing material, and carpeting.

Acceptable items:

  • clothing
  • shoes
  • sheets
  • bedding
  • towels
  • other household textiles

No heavily soiled items. Shoes must be matched and tied together. Items must be bagged.
