Mayor Brummel's State of the City Address

Mayor Brummel's final State of the City address will highlight 2024 achievements, future goals, and the brightest accomplishments during the past 20 years of his tenure.

David Brummel became the fifth Mayor of Warrenville after winning the April 5, 2005 election. He was re-elected in 2009, 2013, 2017, and again in 2021. He previously served two terms as Alderman for Ward 3 and served for two years as a member of the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals.

As Mayor, he has served as President of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, President of the DuComm Executive Board, Board member of the DuPage County Stormwater Committee, Board member of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau and honorary Board member of the NEW 200 Foundation, which enhances the learning experiences of District 200 students.
