At the Warrenville Road and Batavia Road intersection, the existing median, right turn ‘free flow’ condition from westbound Warrenville Road to northbound Batavia Road, pavement markings, and signage were modified to an all-way stop condition on a trial basis. The all-way stop condition will be evaluated by City staff and its traffic engineering consultant for the remainder of the school year and during the summer. All legs of the intersection will be monitored and evaluated, including River Road. An electronic changeable message sign will remain in place for the next couple of weeks, and be updated as needed.
