[ARCHIVED] Document Shredding with Electronic Recycling Event

Safely dispose of your paper documents, outdated electronics and small appliances on Saturday, May 6th, from 9 a.m. to 12  p.m. (or until trucks reach full capacity prior to 12 p.m.), in the Bower Elementary School parking lot, 4S241 River Road.  To help make this a successful event, please follow the guidelines provided below.  If you have questions about disposal of an item, contact the specific vendor prior to the event date.   

Drop-off instructions:
o    Please remain with your vehicle for the event 
o    Items will be removed from your vehicle by volunteers and placed with the vendor
o    Have items easily accessible, separated between electronics and paper documents
o    Use paper shopping bags or cardboard banker type boxes (limit 3) for your paper documents
o    Pre-paid vouchers for larger electronics should be taped to the item

Accepted items (at no cost): 
o    Paper documents
o    Small electronics 

Accepted larger items (pre-paid voucher required): 
o    Larger electronics/items require a pre-paid voucher prior to the event. Vouchers cannot be purchased at the event, and payment for items will not be accepted in lieu of a voucher

Vendors for this event are:
Docu-Shred (paper) and E-Waste Solutions (electronics). Questions regarding accepted items may be directed to the respective vendor.
