Four famous residents from throughout the City's history got the Andy Warhol Pop Art treatment and are on display in a mural at Warrenville Public Library this summer: Ivan Albright, Vivian Lund, Leone Schmidt, and Julius Warren.
This is a collaborative effort with the College of DuPage, the City of Warrenville, Warrenville Historical Society, and Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce. Warrenville is one of 20 participating DuPage communities/organizations displaying four famous faces in a Warhol-Style mural to tie into the College of DuPage's exhibition: “Warhol: Featuring Andy Warhol Portfolios: A Life in Pop / Works from the Bank of America” that runs June 3 to September 10.

The COD Warhol exhibition features 94 works on loan through Bank of America’s Art in our Communities® program. There will also be over 100 works from the COD Permanent Art Collection.
Notable works from the collection will include Warhol’s 1980 screen-printed portrait of Joseph Beuys as well as his iconic $ (1983). Also included: more than 150 photographs by Warhol comprised of both black-and-white gelatin silver prints and color Polaroid prints featuring unidentified figures and celebrities alike.
