The U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency recently released its draft report onpreventing plastic pollution and will take comments through July 31.
EPA identified three
key objectives:
- Reduce pollutionduring plastic production.
- Improve
recycling: reuse, refill, compost - Prevent trash andmicro/nanoplastics from entering waterways and remove trash from the
environment once it is there.
