The City's Environmental Advisory Commission invites you to join them Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Warrenville Park District, 3S260 Warren Avenue. The event features:
- Free tree giveaways
- Ceremonial tree planting
- Door prizes
- Light refreshments
- Environmental fair - learn how to:
- mulch trees correctly
- compost
- maintain lawns without pesticides
- And - a silent auction of wren houses designed and signed by Mayor Brummel. Proceeds benefit Warrenville in Bloom.*
Vendors will provide educational information on native plants, local wildlife, proper recycling techniques, and more.
