[ARCHIVED] ComEd Offers EV Rebates for Residents and Businesses

ComEd offers EV rebates in 2025

Are you ready to plug in to a zero-emissions car? EVs have no tailpipe emissions and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Switching your main car to an EV saves the cost of gas and lowers maintenance costs too. Driving an EV typically costs less than half of what it costs to drive a gas car.

EV benefits:

  • Energy efficient
  • Lower emissions
  • Improved air quality
  • Reduced maintenance costs
  • Reduced energy dependence

Learn more about EV regulations and what your options for purchasing EVs and installing charging stations on our website at (link): https://www.warrenville.il.us/979/Electric-Vehicles-EVs

Thinking about getting an electric vehicle (EV) or installing a home charger? ComEd has $100 million in rebates available to help make it easier for residents and businesses to go electric in 2025.

  • For homeowners: Get up to $3,750 to help with the cost of purchasing and installing a Level 2 home charger.
  • For businesses & public sector: Rebates are available for EV fleet purchases and charging station infrastructure.
  • Funding fact: More than half of the funds are set aside for low-income customers and communities.
