On Friday, August 18, 2021, from 5:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon, Warrenville police officers will participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois Dunkin’ Cop on Rooftop fundraising event. Warrenville police officers will sit atop Dunkin’ Donuts at two different Warrenville locations: 28W125 Warrenville Road and 2S721 IL Route 59, in hopes to heighten awareness and raise money for these Illinois athletes.

Everyone who makes a donation at the event will receive a coupon for a free donut.  Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) specially designed t-shirts, baseball caps and pins will be available for purchase.  ALL proceeds from this event benefit the Special Olympics Illinois athletes!

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the single largest year-round fundraising movement benefiting SOILL, a not-for-profit organization that offers year-round training and competition in sports for athletes of all ages with intellectual disabilities. The organization also reaches out to Young Athletes between the ages of two and seven, with or without intellectual disabilities. SOILL does not charge athletes or their families to participate in the program.
