Hotel Tax Grant Workshop is July 13

* The City's Tourism and Arts Commission (TAC) awards grants using the City's Hotel Tax.

* Organizations interested in applying for a grant should attend the workshop: 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13 at City Hall, 28W701 Stafford Place.

IDEC July Celebration

* The City's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness Commission recognizes the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which became law in 1990.

* This federal civil rights law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of public life.

* IDEC welcomes feedback, ideas, and suggestions to further the mission of inclusivity and respect for all in Warrenville. Submit comments to: idec@warrenville.il.us.

Route 59 Multi-Use Paths Project Gets Boost from State

* State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr requested $200,000 for the project in the 2024 budget, which Gov. Pritzker signed June 7.

* Residents will have safe, ADA-accessible paths to businesses and existing bikeways and trails along Route 59 from Batavia Road to Continental Drive and Meadow Avenue when work is complete.
