Voter Registration

Requirements

In order to register to vote, a person must meet three qualifications:

  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age as of the next election
  • Must be a resident of his or her precinct for 30 days as of the next election

At registration, an applicant must provide two forms of identification. At least one of the forms must include the present residence address. Acceptable IDs include, but are not limited to:

  • Driver's license
  • Utility bill
  • Social security card
  • Employee or student ID card

Registration

Residents may register at City Hall, 3S258 Manning Avenue, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Warrenville Police Department, 3S245 Warren Avenue will also accept registrations Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Individuals must arrive one half hour prior to closing. Also, arrangements can be made at City Hall for registration of housebound individuals.

Upcoming Elections

More specific information regarding a city election or polling place location is generally available 30 days prior to an election and may be obtained by calling the City Clerk's Office at (630) 393-9427.
